I offer a listening, empathetic ear and safe space to explore your deepest hopes and dreams and determine your place in this life. No matter where you are in your expedition of self-discovery, I want to walk beside you and find the path that meets your specific needs. As your therapist, I will help you discover your unique relationship with God. No two people are alike and I celebrate your individuality as a client. Let’s take this hike together!
My Goal as a Christian Counselor
My goal as a therapist is to help you find your unique path in life. One of my favorite quotes is by Robert Frost: “Two roads diverged in a wood, and I, I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.” Sometimes the best road is not the most popular choice, and yet that road could be the path chosen for us. I hope that through our sessions, you will gain a greater understanding of yourself, your life, and how your faith can align in ways that might seem impossible.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
I offer a listening ear, a non-judgmental atmosphere, and a safe space to explore your emotions and challenging situations. Our sessions together will be informal and tailored to your specific needs. My aim is to make you as comfortable as possible in order to open doors and lower walls as we seek to make significant progress in our therapeutic work. Our first 2-3 sessions will focus on getting to know you and your situation to make sure the therapeutic relationship is the best fit for your needs.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
Finding your spiritual path can open doors to experiences and emotions that might not have been possible before. As someone who has struggled to understand the dynamics of my own faith and beliefs in past years, I now have a stronger understanding of the importance of self-discovery in relation to faith. My studies in Marriage and Family Therapy provided me the platform to discover my faith, and I feel this experience has helped me understand the challenges of life and spiritual balance.
